SUMMARY:Raptor to North Channel Islands
DESCRIPTION:October 7th is our club's charter of the Raptor leaving from Ventura Harbor heading out to the northern Channel Islands. Depending on conditions\, our destination will be either Anacapa Island or Santa Cruz Island. Both destinations offer pristine California dive sites featuring many of the species that divers expect from area diving: spiny lobster\, moray eels\, sheep head and señorita wrasse\, bat rays\, brittle stars and garibaldi. Anacapa Island also boasts a sea lion rookery and divers are frequently met by these curious\, playful creatures. Interaction with these guys is not to be missed!\n\nThe Raptor is a 46ft\, nimble dive boat that can make the channel crossing in just 50 minutes! The crew is top notch and always take great care of us. There are currently 12 available spots on this charter\, but don't delay or you may just miss out on the fun!
