- MONTHLY NEWSLETTER, the Bottom Times, provides short
articles on recent activities, details on
upcoming events, and the club's complete
calendar for the year.
- MONTHLY MEETINGS on the third Wednesday of each month,
alternating between Silver Lake/Los Angeles
and Long Beach. Each meeting
includes social time, a quick review of past events, a preview of upcoming
events, a
featured speaker on a dive-related topic, and a fabulous raffle.
- LOCAL DIVING includes club boat trips to sites in the
Channel Islands, usually from April through November; diving the West End of Catalina
Island and staying at the fabulous Banning House B&B at Two Harbors;
and all the BEACH
DIVING anyone could want. We've also done camping/diving trips to Mexico in past years,
and if there is sufficient interest it could happen again!
- CLEANUP DIVES at Avalon and Two Harbors on Catalina Island, and participation in
the International
Coastal Cleanup.
- TROPICAL TRIPS to a variety of exciting destinations such as
Hawaii, Australia, Roatan, Egypt.
We've now added a new page to highlight these trips.
- PRIDE FESTIVAL booths and parades (e.g., Long Beach and Christopher Street West,
West Hollywood).
- Annual Winter Holiday Party.
- DIVING INSTRUCTION,
including open water and advanced open water.
- EQUIPMENT DISCOUNTS for our members at Reef Seekers Dive Co.,
